Salmon Saturday?

Anyone want to hit Tillamook bay or the Nehalem river while we have a little rain coming in or possibly upriver in the Nehalem?

Pb's have been doing good.

No takers on the invite so I hitched a ride on my friends pb. Three of us in board and two nice nooks pulled one by the captain and one by his buddy. I got the skunk but there here quite a few landing fish during low slack on plug cut herring in the ghost hole. The captains fish was a hawg at 35 lbs the other about 20 lbs. seen a lot of coho jumping as well. Most likely going PB'ing tomorrow as well if nobody wants to yak it up. Got no salmon love today exept a native coho that got released at the boat due to regs. and only seen one nook netted out of about 35 pb's.  We crossed the bar shortly after low slack and found the same ol situation there but it was a jack that a boat kept. Afterwards I was grabbing some egg cure at the tilly sporting goods and was having the same conversation from a boat that was in the Nehalem and another from the Nestuca. The tilly bay water temp was 64.5 and the ocean was 62.4. The fish were there just not biting. But it was a beautiful day on the water.
