I am building a new trailer for a specific trip and will need to sell it when I get back.

This trailer is going to be a 4 X 8 x 2 ft enclosed aluminum box. The box will contain one giant drawer on slides the will pull out the back. The sides of the drawer will be mesh and the bottom an aluminum  sheet. Initial plans set the drawer around 18 inches deep. The drawer when closed will have locks on both sides

There will be a top rack that will hold 4 bikes or two Outbacks side by side.

Would anyone be interested in a Camp/kayak trailer like this?  I figure the cost will be around $1300

Hi Steve - Do you plan on converting a SnoBear trailer for this project?  Just curious.  Still trying to get with my welder for my trailer modifications - your trailer may be done sooner!

Good luck with it and show it off when you get it done.  I'd like to see it.  Thanks -

Alan

Steve,  I'd probably be interested in a trailer like you're describing.  My intent would be to carry 2 Hobie Revo's (one 11 and one 13) - do you think it would be long enough to balance that length of kayak?  Send some pics or PM with your project plans.  Good Luck!  Sounds like FUN.  Barb

It better be long enough since he will be transporting my Adventure on this adventure.  ;D
