Anyone doing any fishing this weekend other that the guys heading to Sombrio?   Looks like a cold front coming in on Sunday.  Perhaps the thing to get some of these lockjawed silvers on the bite, if they are even there at all.  Or ... I have a hairbrained idea churning in my mind.  If someone is up for an adventure let me know ... lower Snoho sturgeon!!!

Wish I could go to pick your brain if nothing else, but when you have kids you will know about soccer Saturdays :)  I might try and sneak out Sunday to Shilshole depends on the weather and how much I need to get out of the house.

D'oh.  I may not know what soccer saturdays are, but after being out of town the last 3 weekends, I was reminded what honey-do saturdays are.  Looks like I have to sit saturday out.  If I get everything on the list done, I may be joining  YOU on Sunday.

LOL I went out this morning on Shilshole again.  Real foggy out, had a huge, well to a landlubber like me, wave go through.  It was probably 4 ft with a nice curl.  I'm not sure what started it, it was calm and I have never seen a container ship cause one that big, just swells.  It was weird for me to watch this thing come at me, probably took 2 or 3 minutes.  Everything was fine in the end just a fun ride.
As to the fish, caught more of those 14-15" blackmouths, no sign of coho or anything else.  I did see some crab traps out there, I thought that season was closed?
This was my first solo fishing trip both my yaks are tandems so I was glad everything went well, I'm starting to get it down.
Oh and to top it off I was talking to the  F&G lady at the docks and she asked me how long I had been fishing.  I told her I didn't know I launched about 7am what time is it now?  She tells me 10:35, Shit I'm coach for my girls team and they start at 11 down in wallingford.  Holy moly, I was moving never loaded my stuff so fast.  Ha ha
