I noticed that the AK section of the forum has been pretty dead, other than a bunch of wackaloons that went fishing for shark awhile back. :toothy9:
I know I can't be the only kayak angler in Alaska, anyone else out there? I'm in Eagle River, anybody else in the Anchorage area that I could trade knowledge, or sarcastic comments with?

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day...
Teach a man to fish and he will sit at his miserable job all day wishing he was fishing...

You all are still sufferring from Cabin Fever up there...   ;)

Come the summer, that will peak, as more of us tourists make our way up there and fish.

Look for reports there come the first week of August from Polepole and me!   ;D

Whatever, if there aren't any locals that means more yak fishin' for me :fish:

Ola, Rich - you glad to be back home? I posted those pics of the rod holder mods on the product discussions.

Supposedly the Chena is prime yak fishing territory, but I haven't given it a go yet. And the lakes are supposed to be a good place to look for giant pike.  going to try to get up there with a boat before too long.
