I stopped by Cabelas a couple hours ago. They had a few of the Vibric's, but only up to 1/4 oz. and nothing pink. They have some nice big Panther Martins. I got a 3/4 oz Pink and white one. PM's are my favorite of the smaller spinners for trout. This is the first i've seen of the larger salmon spinners. I also bought a pink Mepps flying C, which is what the guys I talked to at Siltcoos were using last Sunday successfully.

apologies in advance for another picture from our small PB, we at least spent the day on electricity only, weather was just a little uncertain for the kayak but now our last coho tag spots are reserved for the Oasis, weekend weather looking good....

no time for coffee between these two fish at about 1pm, 32" hen, slammed a 2/5 brass/red lil'cleo, second, 30" buck, hit a #4 'black' blue fox on the third cast after we finished bleeding/tagging the first fish.

report: plenty of fish up Fiddle and Maple arms being caught but some are darker/reddish...

observation Wed.: a nice group of big shiny coho came into the lake near the outlet about 6 hours after high tide, good fishing down the shoreline south from the outlet and along the west side of booth island...based on what we caught in the Siuslaw, I think some bigger coho are still to come into the lake. ;D  cheers, roger

That's an AWESOME report.  Thanks Roger.  I think it'll be another week before I can make it down!!  Glad you got out yesterday and had some success.
