A nice bite between 05:00 and 05:30 at Point Defiance, right in front of the boathouse, 4-5 kings caught, one taken by sea lion.  a 15-16# "football" fat one, a 10# hen, and the others I was too far to see.  ME? Skunked!!!  Will give it a try this PM at Point Piner on Vashon.

Nice report KT!

You realize don't you that you're killing us 9 to 5ers...............

HEE HEE!!  Only cost me 3 hours annual leave, fished 0500-1000, the downside was getting up at 3:15....gotta fish closer to home!  There's nice beach access for 'yaks at Manzanita Beach and Point Robinson beach on Vashon, a little less so at KVI beach. The north end has a nice ramp at a Mexican restaurant, parking lot at top of hill.  It seems like the migratory kings are finally making a showing.

Nice report now I am very glad I took leave next week. I have been looking a the maps trying to find launches close to fish that did not involve a ferry ride in that area.  I only came up with the beach at the south worth dock and the point defiance one.   I may have head out that way this weekend and try it out.

Point Defiance iis heating up---there's a dawn bite (0500-0530) right in front of the boathouse.  If things are too crowded, move over to the slag pile in front of the yacht club.
