What's the closest launch I can put a kayak in to fish the Ghost Hole in Tillamook Bay? Do the tidal currents get gnarly in there?

There is a gravel boat launch in Bay City, right next to the Pacific Coast Seafood Restaurant that gives you easy access and parking to Bay City and you can troll all the way into the Ghost Hole.  Otherwise, you can go from the harbor.

The Ghost Hole does get some tidal pull and push, but it's generally out of the main current most of the time.

Bay city is your best bet and it can get going current wise if there's a big change. Give me a shout if I'm available I may be talked into going out with you
