Hi All,

Looking to get started with this sport. I look forward to getting to know some of you. I'm in Des Moines, I fly fish and am looking to start fishing the Puget Sound and lakes on a Kayak. I have a lot to learn!

Welcome Brian!  This place is great.  Tons o great advice and no egos.

I too a a fly fisherman, but I realized that there is so much more to fishing than just tight loops.  Indeed, you have much to learn and this is the rightplace to do it.  Being around the sound, a kayak is the perfect tool.   You have lots of opportunities up there.  What boat did you get/ plannign to get?
