New to the forum and located in Portland, OR.

Have a Jackson Kayak Cuda and have only ventured into lakes so far for trout. Have fished sturgeon from shore and am interested in trying from my kayak in the near future. Also interested in learning to kayak fish the OR coast for ling/cabezon/sea bass etc. and would love to tag along with someone more experienced sometime if they'll have me, if not - i understand!

Looking forward to meeting a few folks and learing more about kayak fishing the PNW.

Thanks,

14', Actually picked it up from 'the nothing' here a few seasons ago now. Just haven't quite made it to the big water yet.

get yourself some immersion gear like a dry suit.  Springers show up in the Columbia in late march.    Winter steelhead are on right now. Hope to see you out there.

Welcome to the forum.  Next Adventure  Paddle Sports offers several kayak focused clinics a year. They are chock full of knowledge and provide a great venue to meet other kayakers.
Will see you on the water soon!
