NEW to NWKA and the NW in General

Just moved to Eugene from South Carolina.  Really looking forward to exploring the fishing around here.  I recently bought a jackson cud a 12 for fishing the rivers and lakes in SC.  I'm hoping it will still be sufficient for this area.  I enjoy all types of fishing but mostly focused on bass and bream so far from the kayak.  Looking forward to catching some new species.  I will definitely be needing advice on gear and where to go in the area.

Welcome to the great PacNW! It's a helluva place to be if you're an outdoorsman, and the fishing opportunities are limitless. Where in SC are you from? I grew up in Greenville and spent many weekends at Hartwell.

Welcome....there are some us on here in the Eugene area too. Also not too far away on the coast. Plenty of local fishing to be found.
