I just thought that I would throw it out there that I plan on going to Whittier this Saturday for the maiden voyage of my kayak. I am really new to this but I finally got my drysuit in and the itch is to much for me to wait for the lakes to thaw out. My goal is to keep it simple and simply test everything out. If anyone wants to join the more the merrier I say.

I am watching the weather in Seward for a potential run down there.

I'm changing this to 2-28-15. Weather does not look that good this weekend.
