I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this link, does anybody know if this guy is legit? Prices look good, maybe I'm just being to cautious?
If no one has any knowledge I may purchase some from him and see what they're like?

Thanks

$0.15 an oz is $2.40/lb ... decent price but not crazy. I'd say load up on what you need

Thanks, being relatively new to this area, wasn't sure if that was a great price, good price, or being scammed. Will pu some from him.
Thanks
John

John, thank you for your service.

Not meaning to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone know where I can get some bell-shaped ("bass casting") sinkers in 2oz - 4oz sizes?  They're pretty effective in the surf and BPS thinks theirs are cast from gold...

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Thanks.  I used pyramid weights, too, but tried a bell-shape and found I prefer them - they don't get tangled in kelp and hung-up in the rocks as often, and they don't move around much more than the pyramids.

There's a new fishing shop in Downtown Tigard called Fish A Field.  Not a big shop, but they do have a nice assortment of bottom fishing gear, and they sell lead sinkers and lead heads at $.15 per oz every day. All different shapes and sizes, even monster size jig heads and rubber jigs.

I load up there whenever I need lead.

So they sell 2oz lead jigs for $0.30? That's a really good deal.
