I have a kayak cart that came with my outback. One of the tires (Wheeleez tires) has a leaky valve. It's not holding air at all but the other wheel is fine. I looked at the valve on both wheels and the bad ones pin is not engaging. It's stuck and not popping back out like the good one. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem? I can't get ahold of the company.

Look up some valve stem removal vids online and then go fish out a small standard screwdriver. It could just be gunked up and in need of a cleaning.
Or you could probably pick up a new stem for just a couple bucks. If you can't find just the valve stem, I'd imagine that you could buy the cheapest bike tube you can find and steal the stem.

Make a slingshot out of the left over rubber and you're good to go!
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Usually, they just need a good cleaning.  I've had that issue in the past and resolution has always been to pick out the gunk.

Stop by your local tire shop. They'll likely take care of it for you for no charge.

Took it apart with a pair of tweezers and worked it around a bit. Seems to be holding air now.

Be careful, they might put their air hose on it and blow it up.  Mine only takes about 5 psi.

Have you ever seen a 10 year old air up his bike tire for the first time at a gas station all alone........after I stopped rolling around on the ground I let him use my phone to call his dad I brt he needed a new pair of shorts.... Who knew a bike tire blowing sounds like a 12 gauge  :spittake:

There's a company in WA state that makes flat free versions of many common tires.  Nothing worse than loading the kayak on a cart with a flat tire.  Here's their website.

http://www.marathonind.com/

Amazon also sells some of the more common sizes.
