So, I went out at Sunset the last two days in a row and got 3!!  Not 3 fish, 3 bites the whole time. Fishing has been the worst i've ever seen it out there. since i'm stubborn i will be back there tomorrow..I refuse to let some stupid fish get the better of me!!

Not sure why it has been been so bad maybe an upwelling of food and there stuffed, or the murky water churned up by the wind waves that never seems to be subsiding.Whatever it is, it sucks. Hope you guys fishing at Netarts have better luck.

What!! Paddling at sunset on the Pacific with no fish?  Man, that sounds awful, you could have been at work or spent that time watching television... ;)

We've seen that here too.  Half a dozen strikes last Friday and two brought to boat.

The water is very cold right now.  Usually the water outside the bay is brown with mysid shrimp and the whales are 50 ft. from shore.  This year I can see the bottom and no whales around me.

It's a different year and different climatic conditions.

I'm headed out shortly and will let you know what I come up with.
