Last week the ice on Lindbergh Lake broke up.  On Sunday I caught a 29.5 inch lake trout on the lake.

There’s still plenty of snow in the mountains in the area, and there were a few snow flurries during the day.  Here’s the view of Holland Peak and Buck Peak in the Swan Mountains from Lindbergh Lake.

And there is still snow on the road to the launch site.

Lake Alva, Lake Inez, and Rainy Lake are still covered with ice, but Salmon Lake, Seeley Lake, Placid Lake, and Summit Lake are open.
