Hey All,
I'll be spending the 27th and 28th up at Snoqualmie Pass. It looks like I'll have all of Monday free until I head south. Any fishing recommendations close to there? Yak or no yak? Gear? Flys? Hike-in? I could also make it down to the Seattle area by mid-morning.

Thanks,
Jay

I went on a hike at the pass yesterday.

There is still snow on the ground and ice in Snow Lake!

There is some fun selective gear fishing in the middle fork snoqualmie... or come down to Elliott Bay with your kayak and chase some salmon!

I was thinking that Elliot Bay might be a good option on Monday. I have a general, freshwater, non-resident WA license. Will that work or will I need an additional saltwater tag? Also, it looks like I'll be up there the following weekend instead, 8/3-4.

Thanks,
Jay

You need a saltwater license for the Puget Sound including Elliott Bay...

Any suggestions, fresh or salt, for Monday 8/4? I'll be coming down from the pass early in the morning and looking to fish for a few hours before heading home.

Play hooky and go fish!

Salt, fresh? Sammamish, Washington, Elliot, South Sound?

Any suggestions or takers?

I'll likely be leaving Snoqualmie around 8am and heading straight to the water...somewhere.

If you can make a sunrise launch, I'm planning on hitting up Elliott Bay before work on Monday.

That's pretty tough for me most any day. My wife is in the middle of a month long class at Snoqualmie Pass. This will be the 3rd weekend and the only chance to see her until she comes home. I probably won't be leaving until her class starts around 8.

Suggestions?

It seems all you working types are bound to the desk next Monday!!!  ;D

Since I'm itching for some salt, any suggestions from Seattle south for 'nook trolling?

Thanks,
Jay
