Test drive Hobie

I'm currently looking at getting a hobie, and getting into kayak fishing. I have narrowed it down to the Outback and the Revo 13. I've done all the research I can, but I would like to test them out before making a 2000 or so dollar purchase. Does anyone know of somewhere that rents Hobies? Also, is the 2015 model worth the extra money, or should I get a discounted 2014 model?

Next Adventure in Portland and Scappoose Bay.  It's a bit of a drive from where you are though.  I just noticed that after posting.

Thanks for getting back to me! I would prefer something closer, but it might be worth it if there isn't anyone renting Hobies in Wa state.
