This resided on my Honda Civic for less than two weeks when I tried to load a 90+ pound kayak onto the roof of the car. The Loader is designed well and did as it was supposed to; I however was not prepared for the lifting (gettin’ old, bad back). I’ve since built a trailer to solve my problem. I have one of those.  It is great for loading a heavy boat like the Outback on top of a taller vehicle.
