Hi All -

I love boating out of Whittier, but have mostly powerboated a bit farther out.

Any advice for spring fishing in whittier in passage canal for this time of year.    Need a good excuse to go down there and cruise a bit !

There are no fish in Whittier to speak of. Mid June the herring show. Always a few small rockfish. I know of powerboats that catch halibut right out of whittier but it's slow.

I second Kardinal_84....there isn't crap until the salmon come and even that is a slow fishery.  I'm thinking Whiskey Gulch this weekend!!
