Hi all,

I have extended family from out of state who've rented a place on the east side of Lopez in May.

Anyone have experience fishing that neck of the woods? I think we'll be down in the Hunters Bay area, somewhat close to Crab Island. I'm taking my kayak and hope to get out a couple times a day.

I have gear that works for lings...haven't looked at the exact seasons yet, but any chance for halibut in that area? If so, I have some more questions...

Thanks!
John

What about general tips for ling fishing in the San Juans? And/or looking for halibut habitat in the San Juans?
