I took the kids out on the river in the kayak. Two 5 yo, nice calm water and a hand full of fish. They had a blast. The kayak did great with the three of us. I am extremely pleased!

I ended up catching two smallmouth on a rapala, my son caught one on a senko wacky style, and my daughter ended up with one smallie and a tree branch. Lol great memories.

I miss the Umpqua system.  Lived there from 90 -94 (taught HS).  Loved the shad fishing at Singleton park.  Good times.  Nice fish and fishing with your kids is priceless!
