Dash Point - question about the beach...

Hey all.  I would like to join in the Humpy Classic next month, but kinda need some info before I do.  Looking at the tides for Aug 8th it looks like a nice low 0.42 at 6am to launch.  Never fished out of there, so I don't know what the beach is like.  I do have a cart with wheels that does OK on sand/gravel, but not so much on mud.  Problem is, I am still stuck with a *(&^*&%^(*&^&^% weight restriction, which I am slowly working upwards (but it's way less than my boat weighs!).  So my wife and/or son will probably be doing sherpa duty for me to get the boat out to the water.   

Since it looks like a long (!) slog to water at low tide (judging by the pic on google maps), what's the quality of the beach for carting it?  Neither of them is a fisher type so we'd have to consider footwear if it's not sand.

The beach is pretty firm and sandy. Pretty easy to walk on, its not muddy at all.
