Hello fellow anglers, my name is Darren and I haven't been fishing enough these last several years...
I'm originally from S. Louisiana and grew up fishing for Bass, Sac-a-lait (Crappie),Bluegill, Flounder, Speckled Trout and Redfish. Later I fished near shore and the salt marshes in canoes and kayaks for several years before moving away. Man, I really miss the marshes and chasing specks/reds in the skinny water! I do not, however, miss the heat and humidity.
I later fished in-shore/near-shore in Southern California before finding my way to Washington. During my time here I've more or less only fished Coho from the beach and it's high time for a change. Currently I have a Trident 15, some decent gear and a need to get out soon... so, here I am to learn all I can before getting out there

Cheers,
Darren
