Went out with jay and my neighbor they both took home 5/6 rocks I released a few little rocks and kept one fish. If I only catch one fish per outing this is the way I want it every time. 29 inches and spitting up bait octopus on my deck. Swells were a little high but none of us rolled on the landing

Nice fish!  I'd take a Ling like that anyday.   It sounds like the new fishing line did the trick for your neighbor.  Glad you guys had a successful trip.
