Well, you got me Allen. I am coming out of lurker mode.

I grew up in Kodiak, AK sport fishing with my dad like a lot of you I'm sure. Then I got into sea kayaking when I was old enough. The last few years I've worked on a charter boat out of Seward, AK. After many many trips of teaching people who have never fished how to catch halibut I realized anyone can catch fish from a boat. I need a new challenge. I've caught some salmon and a rockfish from a sea kayak. But that was just the beginning. So I went out and bought a Hobie Oasis. I'll be heading to San Diego with the Oasis until January when I will be ending up back in WA to start a life that includes a lot of kayak fishing. I work a 2 week on and 2 week off schedule, so while I'm off I will have plenty of time to peddle around and fish.

That seems like a lot of info I just threw out there. I don't normally talk that much, I'm just very excited about this stuff.

Will

Welcome Will.  I grew up a Kodiak kid also.  Winters in town and salmon seasons in Larsen Bay.
