Ok more in depth... Hit it today with Jay, 1:00 launch trolling up to the storage buildings and back a few times lots of fish on the screen several jumped up and gave us the fin. I had two good takes but no hooky-hooky did manage a monster sculpin had to be 6 inches easy but he got threw the mirage drive well before I had a chance to bonk him and get him on the big game hook. Only seen one fish boated while on the water. Found two different captains that must not understand that paddle craft have right of way one of them seemed to be following me around twice I had to move over or get rear ended, the other dolt screams from behind his intention to pass on my starboard side .... Now take into consideration that the freaking pilings are three feet of my starboard side and he's in a freakin dory boat.

Sounds like some great neighbors down there.

Were you in Jay's Revo ?

  Keep trying MoJo.

Come back up to Shipwreck this weekend .
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Yes on the revo fairly stable for a narrow boat and imho the fins are easier then the peddles but I'm still going to shorten them and then see. Because going backwards is way cooler ;D not sure if I can make it up there Sunday will keep you posted.

My dad lives in manzanita and he fishes the jaws from a boat so I was wondering if you fish the jaws or out in front of Wheeler Marina
