Nehalem Bay Invite - Sunday, 8/23/15

Pinstriper and I are considering hitting the Nehalem Bay this Sunday. Not yet sure if we'll target the neck or just below Wheeler. Throwing out an open invite to see if there's any interest in joining us out there. Specific details to get pinned down shortly!

1:30 pm low tide don't drop in before noonish.

We're planning to launch at the Wheeler Public Boat Ramp. If anyone else wants to join us, feel free to shoot me a PM!

I think that's a sound float plan, Roberto. Will allow us to cover Wheeler and below without danger of being swept out to sea, or too far upriver.

Might see you at the launch tomorrow. Will be hitting it a few times next week. Should be good.

I got one (bullhead/ sculpin) so no skunk but only seen one boated and it was released so native coho.

But it was a record bull head. And you landed it without a net! No fish but a great day to be on the water.

Had a lot of fun out there! That hatch cover I lost set me back $50, hah. Ugh.

Note to self: make sure all hatch covers are locked down before heading out, least they blow off.
