The show is going to be on Discovery. The show is called  pacific warriors. I don't know much more then what i watched on the YouTube  (link is below) you can probably read about on google.

You probably don't know this, but we host aquahunters.com, where most of these guys congregate.  I've done some cool trips with Boogie-D (Sea of Cortez and Christmas Island) as well as fished with Rocket, who is the Aquahunters.com owner.  I had a producer call me about a year ago, looking for some leads for a kayak fishing show.  I sent him to Isaac, et voila!  I tried to send him to Rudy too!

Boogie hit up his entire contact network about 2 weeks ago and I was thrilled to see that these guys are finally getting the exposure they deserve, and told him so.

Have met Isaac, Boogie and the Uyedas. Like the rest of the people featured, and pretty much the entire AH community, they are stand up, gracious, competitive, in short these are the people you make life long friends with. Gee reminds me of the folks from here too.

Cant wait to see the first episodes.
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Thank polepole for the lead. I don't think I heard from them but I get a few inquiries. If it's successful maybe I can convince them to shoot an AK episode since we are on the Pacific..  sort of.

I hope this show is good.  More fishing than drama I hope.

Hi Rudy,  oh, they decided to call Isaac instead of you.  But I tried.  I've received at least 3 inquiries for shows about kayak fishing in Alaska in the past few years.  Honestly, none of them really felt right, a bit too contrived IMO.

IMO Alaska is a bit overdone in the reality shows these days, between the mining, homestead, mountain men, small town, survival, real estate, and other shows.  But heck, why is it I find myself watching most of them.   :P

All cool. I watch a few of the AK reality shows and while being g on TV sounds cool, it's apparently a bigger pita than its worth.  I know in general conversation, most Alaska's hate the AK shows. Of course I then ask "why do you watch it then?"  Lol.

I'd love to come up with a good concept. My preference though likely not a fan favorite would be along the lines of food tv's "good eats"  blending science with our hobby to expand my understanding of why fish do what they do.
