Better late than never? With this glut of awesome weather I haven't spent much time video editing. But with the days getting shorter and the kids back in school, it's time to get back to the videos.

What did you think of this year's ORC?

Nice job on the video Lauren. Always a fun event!

Great job Lauren, I'm always so impressed with your quality of videos. I'm a horrible camera man & usually afraid the fish will be camera shy. Its videos like these that got me hooked on kayak fishing some time ago.

Hey I know that Chartreuse Octo Jig!!! Glad it was producing for you.

That's seriously good work. I'd say good enough to use as a promotional. Keep it up.

I really appreciate everyone's comments - thank you!

Yes, that octopus jig has been successful enough that I just ordered 6 more in various colors  ;D  Pro-tip: Take off the treble on the bottom and use a trailing hook on top stuck into one of the upper tentacles. You won't get hung up as much and the stinger hook gets most of the fish.

Lauren, thanks for capturing the spirit of the ORC and sharing some video footage of your experience.  Chinook Bend awards and fish fry are almost as much fun as the Depot Bay kayak fishing... Thanks for publishing the video.  What a good time!
