Hello Everyone,

While I've been a "member" for more than a year, my work prevented me from getting out as much as I'd like.  A few months ago, I retired.  I'd like to be able to connect with anyone who is interested in going out & connecting with water.  Hopefully, this site will greatly aid in this endeavor, regardless of the species sought or (for that matter) just getting out & paddling.

Congratulations on your retirement. The sturgeon social this weekend would be a great opportunity to meet many people at one event if you have cold weather gear and sturgeon tackle.

Thank you for the prompt response! What will be used to attract the sturgeon - bait, lure, size/type of hook - so that I can be prepared?  I have an ugly stick, braided line with 25 pound test leader.
