I would like to fish T-Bay tomorrow morning also but I can't make 0530.  I can be there about 0630-0700.  Is anyone else going to be launching around then?

I probably won't be there until mid-afternoon. Your cousin is welcome to use my Outback for the afternoon low tide if he wants to get familiar with it and have some time on the water before Saturday..Look for my dirty Gold colored Silverado. See ya' Friday.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

no worries! both him and i have been diving for about 10 years plus, so we are pretty comfortable on the water. Its a good thing also, because he wont be as afraid of getting wet. if we get to go out, we get to go out, if not we drink some beer.

We will try to be there by noonish. Going to stop in salem to pick some things up from my dads, then straight to the coast. Might stop by the sports store in tillamook before we go check in.

I got everything loaded into and onto the Jeep.   :banjo:
I will be there sometime between 0600-0700 tomorrow.  Hopefully some others will be there also since I have never fished the bay in the kayak before.

Smokey, I will give you a holler on the VHF (channel 69) when I get there and maybe we can meet up on the water.  I am bringing bottom fishing tackle and salmon trolling tackle.

Shannon, I'll give you a call tomorrow when I get off the water.  Hopefully I will have time to swing by and say hi.  Is there anything you need me to bring with me that you forgot to pick up?

I went fishing this evening.  I was able to pick up a keeper ling, a couple greenling, and some rockfish.  I trolled for salmon going out and coming back in, but didn't have any luck.  I'll be heading out around 05:00 tomorrow morning at the fish cleaning station.

Hidwipmonkey - I'll be out at the south jetty in the morning.  I'll try to listen on the radio ch. 69.  I'm in a yellow outback.  Going out west past the coast guard station stay South of the green marker.  There's a submerged island that can be hard to spot.  Hope to see you out there.

I can't believe you took the "meat crane" to catch gold fish with.  Too funny!

Nothing bigger than the UglyStik-Lite or Barbie pole for that area.  As you found out.   ;D

You never know... I could of hooked into a seal.  😉

I took the Barbie pole to offset it.
