Kayak Fishing Alaska presentation in Soldotna. January 19th!

I've accepted an invitation to speak at the Kenai Peninsula Chapter of Trout Unlimited on January 19th.  Fortunately for them, the topic is about the only think I know....Kayak Fishing South-central Alaska.  It's at Oldie's Cafe in Soldotna at 6pm.  It's free and you buy your own food and drinks.

Hopefully the folks in the area can help spread the word and if I know you will be attending, I will try and work pics and such of your success into the presentation so let me know if you can attend! 

I will post reminders and update the outline here as well.  If you have suggestions, please let me know! 

My work schedule is going to be changing a little bit next month, but if I am home I'll be coming to this!

Lol.  You crack me up.  If anything, YOU and polepole put me there.  All it took was two guys living thousands of miles away convincing a local angler, me, to go fishing in a spot relatively in his backyard (Kodiak).

I bet a less than a dozen show up.  It's a small group to begin with.  Its a slow and painful process to get people to try it.  Everyone seems to think my other hobbies are skydiving without a parachute or something similar.  I am going to be featuring my ten year old kid to show anyone can do it but more than once I have been accused of "endangering my kid" to get attention for my fishing videos.  **sigh**   haha.

but seriously without the guidance of this group, and it is everyone who contributes information, I wouldn't be here today and it really is super appreciated.

I think he did a great job I enjoyed listening to what he had put together also gained a couple fishing buddies and learned some valuable knowledge

To be honest I was embarrassed at how it wasn't organized, 45 minutes isn't enough time where you can just ramble on. I was going to walk through the videos but the projection wasn't the best.  I'd give myself a D for showing up.  Very unlike me.  Well I rambled on for nearly an hour so hopefully a few tidbits emerged. I really can't recall what i specifically said..I sort of just zone out. lol.

Next time, I am keeping it super short, like 15 minutes.  Put up an FAQ and let audience pick the questions or ask their own.   I can then just go through them if I still have time.
