Hey everyone,

Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Jake and i was born and raised in Forks, WA. Fishing runs through my veins! When the rivers are not blown out i'm fishing. I'm new to this website, forum, and kayak fishing! Well technically i'm not even new to kayak fishing yet since i don't even own one at this time. Since last year i started researching kayaks and kayak fishing, and It gets so excited thinking about going out to Sekui or  La Push slaying bottom fish and salmon from a kayak.

I'm leaning towards buying a Hobie outback, but would be very open to suggestions. Also would like to know if a fish finder is recommended.

Also does this forum participate in group fishing trips on the NW Washington coast?

Thanks for any feedback, and hope to see you on the water!

Welcome aboard Jake!

I'm also newbie here which recently bought that PA 17t last December but don't have a chance to go out yet due to bad weather condition.

Maybe hook me up when you see better weather near La Push in a April.

I did some homework for rigging and prepare my ultimate fishing machine so, let me know if you have any question.

I'm living in Issaquah anyway.

Look forward seeing you soon.

-Ken
