Good morning fellow kayak salmon slayers, I'm getting my gear and plans finalized for the Homer Winter King Tournament next Saturday and am planning on trolling a Brad's Cut Plug for the first time.

What hook or hooks do folks have the most success with, treble, siwash or octopus hooks?

Thanks for the input.

uplandsandpiper has this down to a science! Check out his video tutorials. This is working good down here.

I've had good luck with big river hooks.  I use 3/0 for Chinook in the Columbia.  I run one hook where the stock Brad's hook goes and run a trailer hanging out the back about an inch or so.
