Well, I figured it was finally time to branch out from pontooning around lakes to kayaking on the rivers. I'm a lifelong bass fisherman, but I've been targeting salmon and sturgeon the last few years. Always looking to introduce new fishing adventures, I figured now is as good a time as any to get out and diversify my fishing options.

I've already learned a ton browsing the forum, and hopefully soon I'll be able to get some pictures up. Being my first year on the river, I consider a day on the water and a safe trip home a full success. Catching a fish has always been a bonus for me, and with the learning curve associated with kayaking a river, I'm taking this year kind of as a trial and error experience.
