New guy here. Long time angler (shore, canoe, bass boat) new to kayaks. Looking to build a wooden kayak, doing research into the key components and trying to figure out the differences between bass boat/canoe/kayak fishing in general.

Thoughts welcome, look forward to joining the community.

Welcome aboard and I know of one guy interested in some help with a wooden kayak he inherited, might give you a chance to get a close look at an older build. He owns the Trophy Case in Gearheart. I live in Garibaldi and your welcome to take a look at, measure, and if the days right take a demo paddle with me on either or both mine and the wife's kayak.
