After going round and round as to what to get for a first fishing kayak, with a couple of sketchy CL interactions and more time reading internet reviews than is probably reasonable, the gorgeous weather made me decide to just pick something and get out on the water.

Happened to stumble into the Next Adventure warehouse sale on Saturday and picked up a demo model Tarpon 140. (I would imagine that the staff in there will be glad that I finally bought something and won't be wandering around looking at boats and taking up their time!  ;D)

Heading out to a lake to paddle around a bit this afternoon and then looking forward to adding a rod holder and FF and getting out to enjoy the sun later this week!
