Introducing myself... and a question about lings

Hey everyone,
I am a college student in Spokane, but I spend my summers home near Seattle. I just bought a pelican trailblazer this year because I was tired of seeing fish jump out of my reach from the shore
I love fishing especially when it means improving my techniques or catching a new species... which brings me to the second part of this post.

I am about to head to the sound for the summer and really wanted to try for lingcod this season in the sound. I am new to the fishery and have done my research on how to fish for them, but I haven't been able to find where!

Any inside information that will help me find the spawning lings this May would be very helpful! And feel free to PM me if you don't feel like posting a hole publicly. I hope that you all can trust me with a spot or two and I truly hope that this will be the start of a great fishing resource and a chance to help other fishermen... and women.

I know lings hang around the seawall at the marinas. Pick one.

Lingcod in the sound see a lot of pressure in the short 45 day season. Look for good rocky structure and use live bait.
