Lots of great PHD info. Any opinions for a women's PFD?

Again, See NRS. Their clearance lists several womens PFDs. Also check REI if one is nearby. They helped squidgirl find a great fitting system from Astral I think it was

My wife uses the Stohlquist Flo and likes it pretty well.

I find the kokatat Bahia Tour comfortable, but my first choice is MTI because it has two large front flap pockets - so it's like my purse!  :-*

I seem to have a pile of PFD's around and I like them all.  A Stohlquist Drifter, a Stohlquist Angler and a Bahia Tour.

The Drifter was the first one I bought, it's comfortable, doesn't often ride up on me and I still use it in freshwater where I'm not carrying the VHF.  The Angler is great for storing things but it seems to like to ride up more often and I have to modify my technique for deep-water re-entries with the Hobie because of the stiff table-pockets.  The Bahia has been just right so far and the VHF fits the chest pocket.

The Stohlquist Women's Cruiser is a hit for fit and performance, but it doesn't give much thought to useful pockets or lash points for carrying things...

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

All this radio chatter reminded me of how awkward I did find the chinook for those times. I was using the big pocket on the right side, zipped with the antenna sticking out.

Just ordered the NRS cVest.

I have an NRS now. Also have my kokatat dry suit as well. Love them both! Weather sucks this weekend. Hopefully can get back out on the water soon.

Kokatat products are really great--I have an older (but looks brand new) vest from my SinK days. Now a year into pedaling a Hobie, I'm looking for a PFD that is more comfortable with the high back seat--because the bulky back flotation pushes me away from the seat back, my lower back is unsupported and fatigues after a couple of hours.

The winner for maximum comfort (not yet purchased) is the Astral V-Eight--very breathable, mesh back with flotation up high so it doesn't interfere with the Vantage seat back. However, the pockets are mesh and not very useful (for me), and the single lash tab is the only place for a VHF.
