New from Olympia, WA

Just another new guy.  Been reading a lot and trying to research the yak for me.  Got it narrowed down to between the jackson kraken 13.5 or the wilderness thresher 140.  Got to try both yesterday at sammamish state park demo day. 

I leaning more towards the kraken.  It just felt faster and very easy to paddle.  I am considering the tarpon 130x but they didnt have there.  Would have love to try the native slayer as well but did not see native booth.

Hoping to decide soon and take my first yak home.  I am planning of just doing some lake fishing to begin with.  Want to add more experience under my belt prior to exploring the sound.  I pretty much would like to do some crabbing, salmon trolling, and maybe off shore fishing.
