Just thought I'd spread the word, Wilderness Way in Soldotna is carrying Hobies. They currently have 2 14' PAs 1 12' PA and 1 outback. Also have a few accessories. Good news for us peninsula residents.

How's the s/h fee compares to Alaska raft and kayak?

The PA 12 list price was $3249. Not sure how that compares and it's the only one I looked at.

Ack has that same boat for 3349. Pretty good price id say.

The PA in lower 48 is selling for $3149.  So $3249 is pretty awesome price.  I may swing by there to see how much they're selling Outback for.

This is good...some competition in the area is healthy. I really had a hard time with the other dealer's shipping markup. So much so that a buddy ordered and shipped his PA out of Seattle with shipping over $100 less.

I went in one day and they were unboxing a pro angler outside. I had my outback on the car so naturally talked to them about it. That's great they are a dealer now! Good price too!

I know the feeling.  I tried to grasp the markup for s/h, but at the end I Just couldn't justify the price.  It's win win for us.

I've always ordered from the lower 48 because it was more competitive after paying for shipping compared to some other places up here.

I'm always afraid to get something shipped up only to find some defect or major ding and have to deal with sending it back.  I think the local warranty is worth quite a bit personally.  Glad to see the popularity rising enough that we now have two dealers instead of the zero less than 2 years back....
