anchor question

Is 1.5 lb. and 12 to 14 inches of chain is heavy enough to hold a kayak in moderate current? Can you reel in the line when using the plastic tire wire reel?  Thanks in advance.

I like the bigger anchors more for the longer flukes. Those 1.5lb anchors are tiny.

I think it 3lbs the 5.5 I use the 5.5 most of us have plenty of extra weight we can carry.
