I had a great tie-on pad for a 2014 Revo seat bottom, but let my Grandkids take it for their unpadded seats before checking to see if the pads were still available.  Alas, they aren't.

Is anyone using an add-on extra posterior pad on the old style Hobie seats?  If so, and it makes your bottom happy, would you please let me know what brand?

I have zero sewing skills and a homemade DIY pad isn't going to help me unless you want to make it for me.   ;D

I just purchased a Skwoosh kayak pad, and it seems like it will keep my butt from going numb in my 2013 Revo. The seat is water resistant, and it floats! I am going to attach it using Velcro.

I have a Skwoosh seat pad I have used in my older Elie boat.  I also used an old closed-cell seat pad I had for hunting (like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Outdoor-Concept-Sports-Hunting-Seat-Cushion-Stadium-Garden-Foam-Pad-Moss-Green-/190879752257).  Sitting on snow and frozen ground in Nebraska waiting for Bambi needed something like that!  Just tied it on with a loop of paracord and it worked fine in the boat.

Go this route and you save a bunch of money, can adjust the fluff as it is self inflating, and can even tip it up and use it for more lumbar support.

Take it with you to the beach to have something soft to sit on, rather than just the lumpy rock or log.

You can also find them at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Thank you, guys.  The closed cell pads would be enough; my posterior prefers just a bit more padding than it gets with the stock seat.

Not cheap, but it fits on the Hobie seat with no mods. I put mine as the bottom layer.
