I'm planning to go crabbing in the Tillamook area this weekend if anyone is interested.  Tides and weather look good.  PM me if you are interested in joining me.  I haven't narrowed down which day yet.

I'm thinking Crabbing and Salmon at Tillmook this week as well. I found lots of boats on the water last week.

I might be interested in joining you depending on when you are going out, but I will need to buy some Salmon fishing gear.

Interest is peaked. I had been thinking Nehalem, but could easily be talked into Tillymuck, with a crab drop on the way to The Wall.

Just thinking out load, not sur if I'm in yet, .... Drop in two hours before low tide, drop crab trap out at the south wall, bottom fish till low slack plus an hour or so, recover crab trap, drop crab trap and (hopefully fish ) in the trailer/cooler, shoot to the ghosthole and troll till you got jelly legs/arms.... Go home tired yet satisfied :banjo:

I could probably swing that on Saturday!  I've heard that the salmon are really starting to show up in the Tilly.

**edit**  Never mind.  I can't do Saturday.  My Chief Event Coordinator just reminded me we have plans already for Saturday.  If you guys decide to do Friday I can bring the tandem and take my LFB (Little Fishing Buddy) with me.  He's been dying to go out in the bay.

Saturday or Sunday for me, not Monday.

Tides/moon look more favorable for Saturday.

I decided I don't crab on Sundays. Everyone who crabbed on Saturday cleared out all the keepers. I'll still drop a trap on the way, but expectations are low and I wouldn't do a crabbing-only outing.

Change of plans.  Due to work, I need to stay within cell phone coverage and I have sprint, so I will be going to Netarts bay for crabbing this weekend. Planning for Saturday.

Verizon here and the towers across the bay from us, you should be able to get signal from it.

Looking at the sprint coverage maps, Tillamook might be better than Netarts after all.  I might just have to head over near the roads every once in a while to check for messages.  Tillamook might work then.

There's a dead spot on the road over by the Miami river, but on the water should be fine.
