Fish finder on kayak

Anyone have suggestions on a fish finder to install on my Feel Free lure 11.5 kayak?

There's quite a bit of info on the forum here regarding fish finders. If I can recall the Lure has a "Sonar Pod" or something along those lines that should make installing a fish finder much easier. Many folks like the Lowrance models for the cost and general performance, if you're planning on going in the ocean or like to pinpoint speed while trolling then a FF with GPS is a nice feature to have. I personally have a Lowrance Elite-4X Chirp which is an older model (I believe they're calling them "Hook" instead of Elite now) and it works fairly well, it does not have GPS though which is a bit of a downer.... A few folks on the forum and a good buddy of mine have the Raymarine Dragonfly, this is a unit with a nice bright screen and GPS, it's going to cost you about $250-300, but should perform quite well for you... Ultimately there's many options out there, I think many people have love hate relationships with their fish finders, and you will likely find more "issues" with Lowrance units when searching here on the forums, but I would likely attribute a lot of that due to the sheer numbers of them out there.

Yeah, this is a good question for a forum "Search" before asking.

If the Feelfree has a pod or molded pocket for a transducer, find out which transducer is a direct fit and look at that brand.  You can modify many mounting pockets to hold other transducers, but that can be a chore.
