I'm not so pleased with the Gallery module that is being used here.  It doesn't have the best usability IMO.  I'm thinking about upgrading to a different system while there are not a ton of pics on the current gallery there.

What I'm looking at will most likely  involve manual moving of the existing photos.  Or just starting anew.  The only images will still be on the site so any existing links to them should still work.

Thought?  Concerns?

The intent is that the old links will still work.

Well, I'm back to re-visiting this as I still don't like the Galley software being used.  There is no "easy" migration path.  The path of least resistance involves just removing the old software and installing the new.  There is no way to port the old database to the new one ... well, there is probably a way, but it is beyond my technical expertise.  Or I can just do it manually as there are <500 images currently.  So, some time soon I'm going to take down the gallery and install the new one.  Old pics and links to them should still exist (I think) but you won't have the interface to access them directly.
