Check prices for new and for used, I believe second is not that good as new, but much better than used. Also you buy from store, not private party, and can return if you do not like. I definitely would go for it, I hell like Ultra 43 but already got 3 kayaks and no space for 4th

I've been looking around for a Trident 13 to add to the repertoire.    Can someone in the know chime in with how this Ultra hull compares with the venerable Trident 13 hull?   Does it possess the same sea-keeping and ocean prowess that everyone likes about the 13?

Yes, retail price for factory 2nd is 999, new 1499. You right only about 33% because 1499 - 33.33% = $999.
