This is quiet an amazing story and amazing feat! Congrats Leo, that will be one hell of a fish story! My goal is a 125 pounder this weekend... Hahaha...

That is an awesome story!  AND great fish!  Big as anything we see here in Alaska...bigger for the most part.  I know of 3 three 100+ pound fish (all right in the 105 to 110 range) from South-central Alaska.  I think Howard McKim in Southeast landed something like a 180 pounder. 

In the past month, I bet my family has landed close to 100 halibut...average weight...TEN pounds.  lol.  We say the smaller fish are better eating....mainly when we don't catch a monster like this one!  lol.
