Still lots of coho in the deep south sound right now. I didn't have time to haul out the kayaks this morning so it was bombing from the beach. Had two hot follows on a #5 Vibrax tipped with shrimp, but no takers. Switched to a med sized white with chartreuse accent Buzz Bomb, and landed a nice bright hen within 5 cast. 15 min or so later I landed a solid cutthroat in the 18-20" range follwed by a jack coho on the next cast. About an hour went by without a bite when I hooked a big bright coho right off Trident13's bow only to have it swim straight at me shaking the barbless hook loose after a big jump. Then last but not least was this gull... It flew into the arc of my line mid cast, and got tangled in the braid. After a few minutes of working it free while protecting my digits from his discontent, he flew away unscathed. I know T13 got fish too, but I'll let him chime in on that.
