Short notice Tillamook bay

My youngest son wants to hit the bay tomorrow morning 7:00 behind the fish station. Open invite crabbing and rock fishing hot enough in my opinion to go casual. 

Absolutely beautiful day to be on the water early a little heavy fog drizzle to keep ya from overheating then it cleared out around 11:00 with light wind. My youngest son had a blast he's a cook at a bar in Seaside and closed so hepulked an all nighter to fish and is at home sleeping now. He nailed his first salt water fish and from a kayak. I kept a greenling because it was legal length and swallowed the hook, we both tossed a couple back and he hooked two sea bass lost the second one at the boat. Had to beach land twice to get the new boondox rudder adjusted right and WAAAAY better then stock.
I'll try to give more notice next trip but this time I got asked the day before.

Glad to hear you had a great time out there. We'll have to chase some salmon soon!
